Welcome to the Aloft, where our hotel block is not just a block – it's a front-row seat to the downtown Austin show. Conveniently off the famous 6th Street, it's walking distance to any activity you might enjoy. If you have issues with booking with the discount code, let us know and we can help fix it.
Aloft is on 7th street, just off of the famous 6th street, which means you have a front row seat to the happenings in Austin. And keeping our guests together means plenty of opportunities for impromptu group excursions around town and together time with family.
Aloft offers incredible views of the city with clear visibility of the capitol building, 6th street, and the city. Off on the horizon you can see the rolling green hills of hill country. If views are your purview ( :P ) you will enjoy the rooftop, open air bar, or opt for a room with preferred views.
Who says games are just for kids? Join the urban backyard party at Upstairs at Caroline, our open-air rooftop bar on the 2nd floor. From Jenga and foosball to shuffleboard and cornhole, there's plenty to keep you occupied while you sip a cocktail and enjoy the menu.
Free to borrow cowboy boots! Aloft has partnered with Allen boots (an Austin boot institution). They carry a variety of styles and sizes for both men and women to borrow for the day and hit the town like a true Texan.
Grab breakfast tacos at the cafe in the hotel. Austin is the land of the breakfast taco - the on-the-go morning staple that Texans know and (usually) love. It's a combination of Mexican technique, American flavor, and a Mexican tortilla made with flour supplied by German immigrants. San Antonio and Austin claim they are the originator.
You won't need a car or a lot of time to explore Austin. At Aloft, you are less than a 3 min walk to music venues, great food, bars, museums, 6th street, a corner grocery, a convenience store, city tours, and comedy clubs. A 10 min walk gets you to the capitol, the bat bridge, the river for paddle boarding, and the hike and bike trail.
